Forgiveness for me is more than just forgiving others and their actions but forgiving yourself and the actions you’ve done.

there was a point in my life where I truly hated myself and knit picked every single flaw on my body whether it was about my hair, my weight, my frame, whatever, I tore myself down a lot of my life and as i’m getting older and becoming more of a mature Christian i’m realizing how much of a slap in the face that is to God. Christ made us in HIS image and didn’t make a mistake.

It took a while for me to forgive myself for not only allowing those thoughts in my mind, and allowing those thoughts to linger but forgive myself for even having a thought in my mind that God made a mistake for giving me life, and making me the way I am, a beautiful child of God.

I had to realize that I wasn’t waiting for God to forgive me because he forgave me when He our His son on the cross, I was waiting for ME to forgive me, and I think that self-forgiveness is an important thing for someone to do in their life
